As part of its 35th Anniversary Campaign, “Speak Up For Peace,” The Peace Center continues its series, “Community Dialogue on Race,” on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Nativity, 749 Durham Road (Route 413) in Wrightstown.

“Anti-Muslim sentiment is up 67 percent, antisemitism sentiment is up 9 percent,” said Barbara Simmons executive director of The Peace Center. “We need to talk with and listen to one-another now more than ever. Come and learn how to respond to intolerance or dissipate fears.”

Diverse groups of people have met to discuss social change and justice. “We urge deep listening of one another for both healing and identifying ways to help make our communities and our nation a safe and accepting place for everyone,” Simmons said.
