Bucks County Community College is introducing a new noncredit program titled “Civics Education: So, You Think You Know Your Government?”
The eight-week course is designed to inform participants on the fundamentals of the U.S. Constitution, judicial processes, immigration, and both criminal and civil case proceedings, among other governmental operations crucial for informed citizenship.
Set to run on Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., the course will begin on March 27 and conclude on May 15 at the college’s Newtown Township Campus at 275 Swamp Road.
The college has opened registration for the program, which is capped at 100 participants.
The course has a fee of $50 for the entire course. It is important to note that the program does not qualify for financial aid.
The course will feature a rotating roster of distinguished federal and state judges, along with seasoned practitioners.
The experts will provide insights into their specialized fields within the court system, offering attendees a glimpse into the workings of the nation’s framework.
