Forecasters Watching Systems That Could Bring Snow

Forecasters are tracking two chances for snow.

The National Weather Service office in Mount Holly is watching two systems that could bring rain and possibly even snow to the area.

“The first system, which is the stronger of the two, looks to remain offshore. However, if it moves westward, it could bring more impacts to the New Jersey and Delaware Coasts on Monday,” a forecast said.

A second storm could bring up to a few inches of snow to the Philadelphia area Monday night into Tuesday.

“There is still considerable uncertainty with respect to the track of the storm and snowfall amounts. This is a below average confidence forecast,” weather service officials said.

A Hazardous Weather Outlook was issued for the Monday night into Tuesday storm. It reads that there could be light snow with it being heavier in certain areas.
