Wintry Mix Expected Monday

iIMG_8822A wintry mix is forecasted to impact Bucks County Monday into Tuesday.

According to a forecast from the National Weather Service’s Mt. Holly, New Jersey office, snow will move in Monday mid-morning and coat the area with 1 to 2 inches. By the afternoon the snow will change to a mix and then just rain.

The storm will come into the area as a cold air mass sits over top. As the day goes on, temperatures will rise from single digits to above freezing.

“If the changeover occurs more quickly, we will receive more rain. If that happens, then there is the possibility of minor river flooding with some isolated moderate river flooding, as well as localized poor drainage flooding,” according to forecasters.

The storm is expected to impact the morning and afternoon commutes.
