Police Log: Robot Vacuums Stolen, Generators Taken From From Job Site & More

DUI Crash

At approximately 10:40 p.m., police were dispatched to Danbury Court for a report of a one-vehicle accident.  The first officer to arrive at the scene found a vehicle with a driver’s side front tire, front quarter panel, and windshield were damaged.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as 43 year-old Ronald Urbine Jr. who lives on Danbury Court.  As Urbine spoke the officer could smell the odor of an alcoholic substance coming from his person.  The officer formed the opinion that Urbine was driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was incapable of safely driving his vehicle.  Urbine was taken into custody and transported to Saint Mary Medical Center where he agreed to submit blood for testing.  Charges of DUI are pending the blood results.

February 13

DUI

Around 9:20 p.m., police received a report of a pickup truck being operated in a reckless manner on the Newtown Bypass.  One of the responding officers observed the described vehicle and began to follow it performing a traffic stop on Buck Road at Mill Pond Road.  The driver of the vehicle was identified as 47 year-old Cornnel Evans of Winder Drive in Bristol.   After an investigation Evans was arrested and transported to Saint Mary Medical Center where he agreed to submit blood for testing.  Charges of DUI are pending the lab results.

February 17

Theft

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., police responded to a construction site on Daulton Street to meet with an employee of Toll Brothers who reported that two Honda 5000 watt generators were missing.  The equipment is valued at $3,700 and had been stored in the garage of a house under construction.

Fraud

A resident of Windy Bush Road in Wrightstown Township contacted police to report that she was the victim of a credit card fraud.  The victim explained that unknown person(s) had opened an account using her personal information and address and attempted to use the card in Florida.  The incident was also reported to the fraud unit of the retail location where the attempt was made along with her bank.  No transactions were completed so the victim has not suffered any financial loss.

Retail Theft

Around 7:30 p.m., police responded to Bed Bath and Beyond for a report of a retail theft that had just occurred.  The reporting party told the officer that two male subjects took two Roomba vacuums and left the store without paying for them.  The stolen items were an I Robot Roomba 980 valued at $955.99 and an I Robot Roomba 880 valued at $741.99.  Security tape has been provided for further investigation.
