A roving DUI enforcement detail in Newtown Borough led to several arrests, according to police.
On March 25 and March 26, an officer conducted the enforcement detail throughout the borough. Over the course of two days, 13 vehicles were stopped, police said.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Two people arrested for suspicion of DUI
- One person arrested for possession of marijuana
- Two people cited for underage drinking
- Nine people received traffic citations
- Six warnings were issued
- One vehicle impounded
