Workers from Fallsington-based Bray Brothers milled the Newtown Borough Municipal Parking Lot Wednesday afternoon. Equipment removed the old pavement and loaded it into a dump truck to be carted away.
Bray Brothers work to mill and repave the parking lot will cause the lot that sits between Washington and Centre avenues will remain closed until mid-April.
Parking on and around State Street was a bit tight Thursday afternoon due to the closure of the public lot.
The $200,000 borough project to redo the parking lot began in February.
