The last day for students in the Council Rock School District will be Friday, June 10.
On Thursday evening, the school board approved June 10 as the final day and agreed graduation for both high schools would be held that day.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Fraser said because the graduation will take place on a Friday, the commencement ceremony for Council Rock High School North will begin at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. for Council Rock High School South. He cited moving the graduations up an hour from the time they are usually held is out of respect for the large Jewish community and also due to the fact that it will be Friday.
