Spring Snow Could Accumulate


Spring is off to a cold start.

Forecasters said that 1 to 3 inches of snow could fall by Saturday evening in Bucks County. Starting mid-morning, snow is forecasted to continue through the afternoon with rain possibly mixing in at times.

As Saturday progresses, winds from the north will reach sustained speeds of 10 to 20 MPH with gusts as high as 30 MPH.

The National Weather Service warned that untreated roads would be slushy or snow-covered during the day. Visibility could also become decreased during portions of the storm.

A Winter Weather Advisory was issued from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday.

  • Saturday Night:Rain likely, mainly before 7pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 28. Northwest wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  • Sunday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 44. Northwest wind 8 to 11 mph.
  • Sunday Night: A chance of rain after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. Southwest wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  • Monday: A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 60. Southwest wind 11 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
  • Monday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 49. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
