Police are investigating a burglary in Wrightstown.

Newtown Township officers who cover Wrighstown were called around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to Parsons Lane for the report of a burglary.

The homeowner said they left their house around 11 a.m. and returned in the evening to find someone had made entry.

Police said the homeowners were putting together a list of items taken in the burglary.

Newtown detectives have investigated several burglaries over the past few months. In March, police announced they were selling up patrols in the area.

“You see something suspicions and it doesn’t look right, call us,” Lt. Robert Matthews said at a recent Board of Supervisors meeting.
