A Philadelphia man was locked up after police allege he posted to Facebook and sent messages making threats.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed last Friday in district court by Newtown Township Detective Daniel Bartle, 32-year-old Jason Grauber of Philadelphia harassed his wife, who had a protection from abuse order taken out against him, and a man he identified as her “boyfriend.”
The incident appeared to start with a May 2 Facebook post where Grauber appeared upset about how his son was treated. Two days later, his wife obtained a protection from abuse order from Bucks County court. The order replaced an April 27 temporary protection from abuse order that was issued by Judge Ray McHugh.
The day after the protection from abuse order was granted by Judge Alan Rubinstein, Grauber reportedly sent threatening messages to his wife and the man he identified as her “boyfriend.”
“I will find you after work today I got a bullet just for you and if I don’t do it my boy will it’s on tonight,” one message listed in court papers states.
Another message allegedly from Grauber said he had a bullet for his wife and the other man.
Grauber was charged with several counts of terroristic threats and harassment. He was arraigned on those charged and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
