Newtown Borough police posted in a message that there will be parking restrictions Monday and Tuesday in the lot behind 10 West Centre Avenue.
On Monday, crews will be working to patch damaged pavement and install new curb lines. The work will take place in the “permit-only parking lot” but will not take up all the spots, officials said.
On Tuesday, the “permit-only parking lot” will be closed to all vehicles for for line painting and other improvements. All vehicles are to be removed from the permit-only lot by 6 a.m. Residents with a permit are able to park in the principal lot with their permits showing, according to officials.
