Upper Makefield Police Report Rash Of Thefts

Upper Makefield police say they have seen a series of thefts in recent days.

Police reported several thefts of property and thefts from vehicles that all have been reported between Sunday and Wednesday.

  • July 17: theft from a vehicle in Washington Crossing Historic Park. The window of the vehicle was broken to gain access.
  • July 18: An unlocked vehicle in the Meadowview neighborhood was entered. The total value of the theft was $5 in change.
  • July 19: Overnight, unlocked vehicles on Towerview Drive were entered.
  • July 20: Change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Walker Road.
  • July 20: A bicycle was stolen. The neighborhood where the theft happened was not released.
  • July 20: Tires were stolen from a driveway on Walker Road.

We would like to remind residents to please call us immediately should you see any suspicious activity and to please remove all valuables from your cars and to lock your doors,” police said.
