The 38 Bucks Countians killed in the Korean War were remembered this week.
At the Bucks County Korean War Memorial outside the County Administration Building on Court Street in Doylestown on Friday, the area men who gave their life were recognized for their service to coincide with the anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement. The event was led by Korean War veteran and retired newspaper reporter Jerry Jonas and other speakers, including Army Undersecretary Patrick Murphy, State Sen. Tommy Tomlinson and Commissioner Charley Martin.
The names of the Korean War casualties are inscribed in a memorial that was dedicated in 2000.
