Newtown Borough police have a new patrol officer.

Erin McNeeley, a recent graduate of the Allentown Police Academy, was sworn in Thursday as a part-time officer for the borough.
According to Newtown Borough officials, McNeeley is also employed as a police officer in Rockledge Borough, Montgomery County.
