State Rep. Steve Santarsiero has recently announced his plans for a College Financial Planning Seminar to be held next week.

The seminar will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 at Pennsbury High School West, located at 608 S. Olds Blvd., Fairless Hills 19030.

Representatives from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, the Pennsylvania Treasury, the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling, and Santarsiero will present attendees with information about state-secured college savings plans for families, according to officials.

“It truly is in the best interest of families to save for the costs associated with a college education to help our children have the brightest futures possible. This event is dedicated to ensuring that parents and students have the latest information they need before they even start applying for school,” Santarsiero said.

For more information about the College Financial Planning Seminar, those interested can contact Santarsiero’s office at 215-493-5420.
