The third time is a charm for RecruitmentQueen.com as the hyperlocal digital job board announces its third annual BIG Bucks County Career Fair, which is set for Sept. 21.

This year’s fair promises to be even bigger than the first two career fairs, which featured a combined 100 employers, more than 1,000 jobs and hundreds of job seekers, according to RecruitmentQueen President and CEO Jennifer Schultz.

Schultz said she anticipates 70 employers exhibiting at this year’s career fair.  So far, the following employers have registered for the BIG Bucks County Career Fair: All American Hospice & Home Care, Primerica, Robert Half, J & J Staffing Resources, Sykes Enterprises, IGS Energy, Vertical Screen, Inc., Dedicated Logistics Inc., Global Employment Solutions, All Threes Transportation, PSA Healthcare, The First National Bank and Trust Co. of Newtown, Parx Casino, JPE Homecare LLC and the Bucks County Herald.

Salute2Service, a nonprofit organization committed to providing resources to veterans and military families in need, will be providing resources for veterans looking for jobs during the career fair.

The Bucks County based organization will offer assistance for service-connected claims for veterans, homeless outreach, as well as help with transitional and permanent housing and emergency assistance, according to Founder Rodney Wyatt. Wyatt previously worked for the state in the area of veterans affairs and has expertise with holding career fairs.

“There’s going to be a wide range of resources along with employment,” Wyatt said. “It’s beneficial for everybody to attend.”

Schultz encourages job seekers to do a bit of homework before attending the Sept. 21 career fair.

“Be sure to research the companies with career opportunities that most interest you,” she said. “That insight could help you stand out from other candidates during face-to-face interactions.”

She also suggests that job seekers bring several copies of their resume, dress professionally and attend the BIG Bucks County Career Fair with the confidence to land the job of their dreams.

To help job seekers gain even more recognition from Bucks County employers, Schultz encourages those looking for employment to complete a free profile on www.recruitmentqueen.com. Job alerts can also be tailored to send notifications of positions best-suited to the job seeker’s skill sets.
