Snow Could Cause Problems For Friday Commute

A chance of snow could cause problems for the Friday commute.

The National Weather Service in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, is calling for a chance of accumulating snow in Bucks County Thursday night into Friday morning.

A forecast map issued Tuesday called for an inch or less of snow in the Newtown area. Forecasters said the snow, even less than an inch, could lead to slippery conditions for the Friday morning commute.

Forecast: 

  • Thursday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 35. West wind 10 to 14 mph.
  • Thursday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 1 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Friday: A chance of snow, mainly before 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35. North wind around 6 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
