A motorist was taken to the hospital after crashing into a tree late Friday morning.
The single-vehicle wreck happened on Woodhill Road between Shannon and Highland roads around 11:30 p.m.
Police said the driver was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown for treatment.
According to police, it preliminarily looks like the car drifted off the road. The weather did not appear to have been a factor.
Along with police and medics, the Upper Makefield Fire Company responded to the scene.
