Community College Student Musicians To Pay Tribute To Billy Joel & Meatloaf

The student-run internet radio station of Bucks County Community College, Radio BUX, is gearing up to a host a spring concert and pay tribute to classic rock.

Student musicians will play the music of both Billy Joel and Meatloaf this Saturday, March 25,  at 7 p.m. on the college’s Newtown campus at the Zlock Performing Arts Center. Tickets for the event are $15 at the door or $10 online. Those interested can purchase tickets here.

The concert will feature student musicians performing live music as a tribute to classic rock artists Billy Joel and Meatloaf. The two-hour concert with intermission includes hits such as “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me,” Piano Man,” “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights,” “I’d Do Anything for Love (But I Won’t Do That),” and many more.

According to officials, the concert is part of Bucks Live! innovative programs to inform, inspire, and enrich the life of greater Bucks County, sponsored by the Bucks County Community College Cultural Affairs Committee.

Forthcoming musical events include jazz vocalist Joanne Pascale April 6, and Gerald Veasley’s Electric Mingus Project May 4.
