Newtown Township police are investigating vandalism that damaged municipal property and several businesses.
Police said the damage was discovered Friday morning along Sycamore Street.
Patrol officers obtained surveillance video from shortly before 2 a.m. Friday that shows a group of males walking down Sycamore Street near Jefferson Avenue. One of the subjects lifts a wooden bench with the assistance for another and throws is at a fence outside the new La Stalla Market.
Officers continued to collect evidence and surveillance video along Sycamore Street Friday morning.
