Medical Helicopter Called To Wrightstown Wreck


UPDATED: Wednesday, 11:01 a.m.: 

Newtown Township police said the crash involved two-vehicles with one person entrapped. Firefighters freed the trapped individual and two others were also taken to the hospital.

All three of the injured were taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown, one was transported by medical helicopter.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.

A medical helicopter was called to a wreck in Wrightstown Tuesday night.

One person was transported via medical helicopter, and at least one other was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown for treatment following the crash at Windy Bush Road (Route 232) and Pine Lane around 10 p.m.

Firefighters were called to help extricate at least one patient from the crash.

The medical helicopter reportedly landed a short distance away from the crash scene.

Accident investigators from Newtown Township police, who patrol Wrightstown, were called to the scene.
