Cops: Wrightstown Woman Stole $219,000 From Employer

A Wrightstown woman has been charged with allegedly taking more than $200,000 from a business.

Susan W. Brown, 55, allegedly stole the $219,000 from an Upper Southampton business since 2015. She was employed as a part-time accountant.

Upper Southampton police said they began investigating Brown after her employer suspected the theft of funds from business accounts on May 16.

Brown surrendered to police and was charged with theft, access device fraud and receiving stolen property. She was arraigned and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
