Two 14-year-old juveniles have been arrested for an alleged burglary.

According to police, Upper Makefield officers responded at 7:29 p.m. to a home on Independence Place in the Washington Crossing section of the township for the report of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, the officers found the two 14-year-old boys – one from Newtown and the other from Wrightstown – in the home.

The homeowner was not in the residence at the time, but a neighbor spotted the burglary and called authorities.

Police said the teens were found in the home making marijuana brownies on the stove.

The two teens were taken to the Bucks County Juvenile Detention Center in Doylestown.
