Crash Causes Campus Closure

Bucks County Community College’s Newtown Township was closed for a portion of Monday.

The campus closed around 11 a.m. due to a power outage caused by a crash along Swamp Road. PECO was forced to cut power in the area while they repaired a damaged pole.

Due to the outage, programs were cancelled until the lights were back on.

By late afternoon, power was restored and the campus reopened at 4 p.m.
