Detectives from Upper Makefield and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office are probing the death of a person found Tuesday evening.
Police confirmed that a person was found deceased in the 1000 block of River Road near Lafayette Drive in the Washington Crossing section of the township following a 9-1-1 call for an unresponsive subject around 6 p.m. Upon the first officers arriving on the scene, the person was found to be deceased.
The deceased person’s name is being withheld until their family can be notified, police said.
The scene was blocked off Tuesday night by police tape and emergency vehicles.
The Upper Makefield Fire Company and St. Mary Emergency Medical Services squad were dispatched to the scene along with police.
