After months of holding off, Freshman Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick will be hosting an in-person town hall later this month.

The Republican congressman will be hosting the town hall at an unannounced location in Bensalem on Tuesday, August 22 at 7 p.m. The event will be streamed online.

Constituents can register online by midnight on Monday, August 14. Staff from the Bucks County Courier Times will randomly draw names of those who registered and they will received an RSVP to attend the in-person town hall.

The congressman’s office noted the “registration does not guarantee a ticket.”

Fitzpatrick’s staff will broadcast the town hall live on Facebook.

Residents have raised their voice over the past months over Fitzpatrick’s reluctance to hold in-person town hall. However, the congressman has held telephone town halls and his office has said he often speaks with constituents throughout the Eighth Congressional District.
