Bucks County Offering Free Flu Shots This Fall

Bucks County will again be offering free flu shots this fall.

The first vaccination clinic will be held at the Neshaminy Manor Center’s Health Building at 1282 Almshouse Road in Doylestown on Saturday, September 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The two other clinics will be held Saturday, September 30 at the Bucks County Government Services Center at 7321 New Falls Road in Levittown and the county offices at 261 California Road in Quakertown. The Levittown clinic will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the Quakertown clinic will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

No appointments are needed and the clinics are free regardless of insurance coverage. Officials said vaccines are for Bucks Countians age three and up.

The county has 5,600 doses of flu vaccine available for distribution.

In late summer, the Bucks County Commissioners agreed to purchase $61,906 of seasonal influenza shots from Sanofi Pasteur.
