A threat against Council Rock High School North was posted on Snapchat Monday.

The threat was deemed not credible, but the district said in an email that security will be stepped up on Tuesday.

Newtown Township police were investigating the message and extra officers would be posted at the high school to “ensure student safety,” the district said.

Superintendent Robert Fraser wrote in an email that threats will not be tolerated in the district and that message will be sent to high school students in the coming days.
