Following dozens of successful career fairs in Bucks County – including the latest in September which drew hundreds of job seekers and 600+ jobs – RecruitmentQueen has set its sights on helping people in Philadelphia find work.

The Bucks County based digital job board will hold its second Philly Job Fair at Philadelphia Mills Mall on Oct. 18. RecruitmentQueen President and CEO, Jennifer Schultz, said she anticipates 40 employers to attend, offering a wide range of employment opportunities from all industries, including customer service, sales, management, administrative, clerical, light industrial, manufacturing, nursing, home healthcare, law enforcement, education, maintenance, dietary, cooking, drivers, accounting and more.

“We’re branching out to the Philadelphia area to help people in Philadelphia find work,” she said.

Employers hiring at the job fair so far include: US Army, Brightwood Career Institute, Robert Half, Majestic Rehab, SDI, Salute2Service, TMA Bucks, PeopleShare, Vertical Screen and Source4Teachers.

The accessibility of Philadelphia Mills Mall from I-95, Woodhaven Road and public transportation, via SEPTA and the Frankford Terminal daily bus routes 20, 67 and 84, made the location a perfect fit.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with and speak to local recruiters and hiring managers. Even though the career fair is held at a shopping mall where dress codes do not apply, job seekers should dress for success, according to Schultz. Professional attire is recommended.

It’s a good idea for job seekers to research the companies they are interested in ahead of time and come to the career fair prepared and with enough copies of their resume in hand.
