Alarm May Have Stopped Burglary

A burglary may have been thwarted by an alarm system Saturday evening.

Upper Makefield police said officers were called to a home in the unit block of Dispatch Drive in the Heritage Hills development around 7:30 p.m. for an alarm activation.

They arrived to find no one inside and signs of an attempted burglary. No items were removed from the home, police said.

Police said any tips from the public may aid their investigation. Callers with information can contact investigators at 215-968-3020.
