Multiple Towns Hosting Joint Earth Day Celebration This Weekend

A big Earth Day celebration is coming to Lower Bucks County.

Between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, an post-Earth Day celebration will be taking place at Core Creek Park in Middletown. There will be live entertainment, a tree sapling giveaway, and other activities for kids and adults. Middletown will begin giving away 1,500 18 gallon recycling bins.

There will be food trucks present, interactive activities for kids and a number of eco-friendly giveaways.

The Earth Day celebration is a combined effort of Middletown Township, Falls Township, Hulmeville Borough, Upper Makefield, Lower Makefield, Newtown Township, Northampton, and Bucks County Parks and Recreation.
