Police around Bucks County are keeping an eye out for a man wanted for multiple alleged sex offenses against minors.
David Hamilton, 47, was spotted Friday in Morrisville Borough and ended up being seen later in the day in Solebury Township. Despite an extensive police search that involved a helicopter over the weekend, Hamilton was not located and remains on the run.
The 2016 Toyota Corolla Hamilton was last known to be driving, according to police, was found in Morrisville. He was seen crossing the Calhoun Street Bridge toward Trenton before being spotted on Stoney Hill Road in Solebury in Central Bucks County and attempted to steal a gun from a New Hope Borough officer who attempted to arrest him.
Police said he may have traveled the area near the Delaware River and the Delaware Canal towpath.
As of Sunday, Hamilton was not spotted but police in Central Bucks County had begun “saturated patrols.”
On Monday, officers from a number of municipalities and K-9 units from SEPTA fanned out in Solebury to look for Hamilton.
