Public input on a proposed trail that would run from Wrightstown to Core Creek Park in Middletown will take place this week.

The Bucks County Planning Commission will give an overview of the Middle Neshaminy Greenway Trail on Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Newtown Township Municipal Building at 100 Municipal Drive. Staff will be on hand to answer questions, accept public input, and share details on the proposed trail that will run from the Rushland Village in Wrightstown Township through Newtown Township and Newtown Boroughto Core Creek Park.

“Those who attend this open house will be able to learn more about the project, review the proposed alignment and have an opportunity to provide public comment. This will be an informational open house with maps available showing the various trails and other facilities identified to date. No formal presentation is planned, so members of the public can arrive when they are able,” a county press release reads.

The project is being funded by Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
