100 Volunteer Firefighters Graduate From Community College

The newest class of volunteer firefighters graduated from Bucks County Community College Tuesday evening.

The roughly 100 firefighters graduated after completing three spring classes at the Lower Bucks Public Safety Training Center in Bristol Township’s Croydon section, the Bucks County Public Safety Training Center in Doylestown Township, and at the Ottsville Fire Company.

Three students – one from each of the classes – were recognized  with an Outstanding Student Award.

Robert Grunmeier, the executive director of training services for the community college, was among the speaker for the ceremony.

Bucks County Community College is among the largest providers of emergency service and fire training in the country and world.
