PHOTOS: COVID-19 Closures Leave Newtown Empty

On Tuesday morning, the Newtown area was quiet empty amid a 14-day mitigation period.

Schools are closed. Many businesses shuttered or working with reduced staffs. Eateries and bars were forced to end dine-in service. State parkland was open, but park services closed. Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores closed physical location.

Below are some sights around Newtown Borough and Newtown Township.
