The newest class of local students who have been nominated to the U.S. military service academies has been announced.
This week, Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, a four-term Republican, released the list of the students from Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Congressman Fitzpatrick’s nomination committee, which is made up of active duty and retired military veterans from all throughout the First Congressional District, recommends candidates for the service academies.
The academies are the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland; the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado; the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut; and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York.
