In Wrightstown Township, progress slowly continues on a new Dunkin’ location.

Construction on the Dunkin’ has been underway since last year near the Five Points intersection, where Durham Road (Route 413) intersects with Second Street Pike (Route 232) and Park Avenue.

The chain coffee shop is across from Anchor Shopping Center and adjacent to ACI Adjustment Group, which sits in the former Penn Community Bank building, on Durham Road.

The project got the green light from the Wrightstown Township Board of Supervisors back in 2021.

Some locals voiced apprehensions about the Dunkin’ location at that time. At a public meeting, they worried that it could intensify pre-existing flooding issues while also leading to increased traffic.
