The week ahead promises a mix of weather, with potentially severe storms making way for sunny skies and gentle breezes.

The rest of the week will see an alternation between sunny skies and potential showers.

Below is the forecast for the week ahead:

Monday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Monday Night: Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 10pm. Some storms could be severe, with damaging winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog after midnight. Low around 69. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 82. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. West wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 87. West wind around 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 66.

Thursday: A chance of showers after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
Thursday Night: A chance of showers before 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 67. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66.
