The historic Newtown Theatre will be hosting a series of Christmas movie screenings and seasonal concerts.
The festivities will take place throughout the month of December at the iconic North State Street theater.
“You can watch many of these movies at home, of course, but nothing gets you in the holiday spirit like sharing the experience with a theater full of people who are laughing, smiling, clapping, singing and sometimes crying along with you,” said Andrew Smith, executive director of the Newtown Theatre. “People come out of the theater smiling every year.”
Tickets for the Christmas classics are $5 for everyone (unless indicated otherwise) and are available at the theatre box office starting 30 minutes prior to the movie.
