PennDOT and its contracted crews will be back this week working to fill potholes and fix deteriorated pavement.

Among the 50 state roadways in the region targeted for repairs this week, several are in the Levittown area.

Work will take place on the below roads:

  • Route (413) Durham Road, Buckingham Township.
  • Wrightstown Road, Wrightstown and Newtown townships.
  • Worthington Mill Road, Northampton Township.
  • Rushland Road, Warwick and Wrightstown townships.
  • Forest Grove Road, Buckingham Township.

Lane restrictions are anticipated as crews work to patch deteriorated sections of pavement.

PennDOT has issued a warning to drivers to remain aware for the moving repair operations, which will force intermittent lane closures and could lead to slowdowns.

PennDOT has asked motorists to exercise caution and patience when driving through work zones.

The initiative comes after the winter season has left a significant number of potholes and damaged pavement in its wake. The arrival of warmer weather presents an opportune time for these repairs to be carried out.

Since the start of the year, PennDOT has used more than 1,400 tons of asphalt to repair potholes across the five-county Philadelphia region.

Furthermore, PennDOT encourages the public to report potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or by visiting their website at penndot.pa.gov and selecting “Submit Concern.”
