PennDOT and contracted crews will be out again this week to repair potholes and deteriorating pavement on over 55 state highways within the Philadelphia region.

In the Newtown area, crews will focus on:

  • Eagle Road, Newtown Township.
  • Pineville Road, Buckingham Township.
  • Route 213 (Maple Avenue), Langhorne Borough.
  • Route 532 (Buck Road), Northampton Township.
  • Bustleton Pike, Northampton Township.
  • Bellevue Road/Durham Road, Middletown Township and Penndel and Langhorne boroughs.

Travel lanes on these roads will see restrictions as crews work to patch areas of deteriorated pavement.

PennDOT has asked motorists to exercise caution and prepare for intermittent lane closures and potential slowdowns when driving near these operations.

All scheduled work is contingent on weather conditions.

PennDOT encouraged the public to report potholes and other road-related concerns on state roads by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD or visiting their website at www.penndot.pa.gov, where a “Submit Concern” option is available.

Since the start of 2024, PennDOT has used more than 1,720 tons of asphalt for pothole repairs across the five-county Philadelphia area.
