Newtown native Alex Cooper has inked a $125 million contract with SiriusXM.

The host and executive producer of her hit podcast “Call Her Daddy” will be moving from Spotify to the SiriusXM Podcast Network.

Since its debut in 2018, “Call Her Daddy” has climbed the charts to become one of the top podcasts globally and the most listened to among women.

“I am beyond excited to work with SiriusXM,” said Cooper. “The Daddy Gang will always be my top priority, and with SiriusXM we will continue to find new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience. The Daddy Gang wants more, so we’re getting ready to give them more…I can’t wait for this new chapter to begin.”

Cooper, 30, is from Newtown and attended The Pennington School, a private college preparatory school in New Jersey.

The agreement also includes Cooper’s Unwell Network, which features a lineup of popular podcasts such as “Hot Mess with Alix Earle,” “Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy,” “Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey,” and “In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele.”

This deal, which reportedly covering more than three years, is a major deal for SiriusXM, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Scott Greenstein, president and chief content officer at SiriusXM, said the deal is of strategic importance of the partnership.

“SiriusXM is the perfect home for Alex to continue her amazing growth trajectory, with our unique ability to introduce her and her growing roster of standout talent to new listeners, as well as super-serve her core fans with new content. Alex is the voice of a new generation, and I can’t wait to see what we do together in the years to come,” said Greenstein.

In 2021, Cooper signed a three-year deal with Spotify worth $60 million.

The move to SiriusXM positions her alongside other prominent shows and hosts, including “SmartLess” with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes; “Crime Junkie” by Ashley Flowers; “Pod Save America” from Crooked Media; and own “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.”

Cooper recently wrapped up a stint hosting a Paris Olympic Games-themed show on streamer Peacock.
