U.S. Sen. JD Vance will be making a campaign stop in Newtown Township the night before election day.

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign confirmed the vice presidential candidate will be stopping at the Newtown Athletic Club Monday at 8:30 p.m. to make his closing pitch to voters.

Vance, according to the campaign, will make the case that Trump is the choice for president and that Vice President Kamala Harris “represents incompetence and dangerously liberal policies.”

The Trump campaign has opened up registration for supporters who wish to attend the local rally. https://event.donaldjtrump.com/events/2n23nkl4n9-2j3k32mno489-23kln342lisd9?_nlid=bj7nf34F5n&_nhids=V3w3TjnZ

Before the Newtown Township event, Vance will be campaigning in Atlanta; Flint, Michigan; and La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Security for the Newtown Township event is expected to be tight and road closures are being planned.

Trump on Monday will be in North Carolina, Michigan, and Pittsburgh and Reading.

Harris’ campaign will hold a large pre-election day rally in Philadelphia Monday evening.

The Harris and Trump campaigns both know Pennsylvania is key to winning the election and have been spending considerable time and resources in the Keystone State.

Harris, her running mate Gov. Tim Walz, and former President Donald Trump have all been in Bucks County in recent weeks. Vance rallied supporters at the Newtown Athletic Club in September.
