A joint investigation by Bucks County and federal agencies has culminated in the shutdown of an online pharmacy that was implicated in the overdose death of a Bucks County emergency responder, authorities announced this week.
The Warrington Township Police Department, in collaboration with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Philadelphia office, launched the probe in April 2022 following the death of an unnamed Bucks County emergency medical service worker, who died from a drug overdose.
A package containing dangerous narcotics was delivered to the deceased’s address the day after their death, police said.
The package included six sealed blister packs of Valium and Rivotril (Clonazepam), which were determined to have been purchased from Sure Life Solutions, a clear net pharmacy vendor without requiring legitimate prescriptions.
Over the course of the investigation, multiple controlled purchases of narcotics were made from the online vendor, leading authorities to trace the operation back to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, police said.
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania issued two search and seizure warrants in October and December 2024.
The warrants targeting the domain https://surelifesolutions.company.site.
As of December 20, 2024, the domain was successfully seized, and a splash page now displays the logos of the involved agencies, including the Warrington Township Police, Homeland Security Investigations, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the Food and Drug Administration, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
The operation was supported by the Homeland Security Investigations Cyber Crimes Task Force, the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance, and the domain provider companies.
The operation was part of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force.
