The Thursday evening commute could be impacted by some light snow that will fall in the region.
The National Weather Service said the area could see less than an inch of snow during the afternoon and evening hours. The forecasters said not everywhere could see light snow that sticks.
Forecasters warned that untreated roads and sidewalks could become slippery.

Thursday: A chance of snow showers, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night: Snow showers likely, mainly before midnight. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 23. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 40. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Friday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 26. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight.
Saturday: A slight chance of rain and snow before 10am, then a chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 42. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28.
Sunday: A chance of snow after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Sunday Night: A chance of snow before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
