Another round of winter weather is headed toward Lower Bucks County this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
The area is expected to receive 1 to 2 inches of snow and a possible coating of ice from Saturday afternoon into the night. As temperatures rise Saturday night into Sunday, the snow will transition to heavy rain, with accumulations expected to reach 1 to 2 inches, forecasters said.
The storm will be followed by strong, gusty winds that may potentially reach up to 45 mph from Sunday evening through Monday as temperatures rapidly drop.
The latest system follows a wintry mix last week and weekend, snowfall earlier this week, and a dusting of snow Friday morning.

Saturday: Snow, mainly after 3pm. High near 35. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday Night: Rain, possibly mixed with snow, becoming all rain after 9pm. Low around 33. East wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Sunday: Rain. High near 55. East wind 5 to 15 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a west wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph.
