As many were sleeping, Bucks County Sheriff’s Office deputies were busy on the streets of Lower Bucks County taking part in an end-of-month warrant sweep on Monday morning.
Deputies arrested 10 individuals and cleared 14 outstanding warrants during an end-of-month warrant sweep, authorities said.
The operation involved both civil and criminal warrant units deployed across Lower Bucks County. Deputies served warrants for a variety of offenses, the sheriff’s office said.
The sweep was conducted in collaboration with local police departments and the county courts system.
“I’m proud to announce the successful completion of this Warrant Sweep, which underscores the dedication and professionalism of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. Bringing individuals with outstanding warrants to justice is a critical step in ensuring the safety and security of our communities,” said Sheriff Fred Harran.
Harran added, “This operation sends a clear message that accountability is paramount in Bucks County. While this operation has concluded, our efforts to enforce outstanding warrants are ongoing. We will continue to work closely with partner agencies here – and around the country – to keep our neighborhoods safe.”
The sheriff’s office encouraged people with outstanding warrants to voluntarily surrender.
“Individuals with outstanding warrants are strongly encouraged to voluntarily turn themselves in to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office to resolve their legal matters proactively and potentially avoid the heightened enforcement activities associated with the future sweeps or law enforcement engagement,” the office said in a statement.
Those looking to handle outstanding warrants or voluntarily surrender should contact the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Division at 215-348-6126 or SheriffWarrants@buckscounty.org.
