The Upper Makefield Fire Company’s annual carnival is back in town.
The event will bring thrills, games, and delicious food to the soccer fields at Washington Crossing Historic Park.
The carnival located at 1112 River Road opened its gates Tuesday, May 6, and will run through Saturday, May 10.
Beyond the rides from Jim Houghton Enterprises, attendees can try their luck at a variety of fun games and indulge in classic carnival fare.
The Upper Makefield Fire Company has a long history of bringing this beloved event to the community. The carnival first started in 1979 at the Taylorsville Road firehouse and a nearby field in what is now the River Knoll neighborhood. It wasn’t long before the carnival found its permanent home at the scenic Washington Crossing Historic Park, becoming a staple of the local spring calendar.
Tickets are on sale at the carnival and online.
