The Starbucks coffee shop in the heart of Newtown Borough reopened Friday.
A sign outside the business this week informed customers the shop was “temporarily closed” and directed them to nearby locations.
Employees confirmed to customers that plumbing issues were the cause of the closure, which ended Friday morning.
During the borough location’s closure, the Starbucks in Newtown Township in the Village of Newtown shopping center appeared to have experienced increased customer traffic in the mornings.
The location was also closed in late March due to a measles exposure and, a few years prior, underwent an extended closure for company training.
